"Went on a Saturday night and at first the only customers. We were greeted as we entered the hotel by a friendly gentleman who took us to our table. Again a friendly lady took our drinks order. For starters we had the duck and pancakes. They were delicious. For the main course my husband had the red chicken curry and I had a chicken with chilli and cashew nuts, together with an auborgine side and rice. I asked the waitress which rice was Thai and she just smiled so took it that the one I was indicating to was it. My husband had ordered boiled rice. But they both tasted the same. My husband found the curry less flavoursome than he would have liked, and I loved mine. All was cooked perfect and was served beautifully. Later another couple and a single diner came in. The venue is lovely and clean beautifully decorated. We will definately be coming back again. It is certainly worth a visit!"

"Great restaurant with excellent food. We visited with friends who live in the village on Saturday evening table of six). The restaurant has only been established for a short time but certainly is a must go to place if you are in the area....Excellent varied menu with quality local produce. All meals were professionally presented and full of flavour. Service was exceptional with staff going that extra mile, well done! Duck was locally sourced from Pastures farm with gnocchi, lovely with a side of greens. Crispy ribs fell off the bone and the wild boar and Apple sausage delicious. Rhubarb crumble finished off the meal perfectly Look forward to our next visit"

"Busy Italian restaurant when we went in on a Tuesday evening. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. Staff were very friendly and efficient. No kids cutlery or menu but they will happily split a main between two kids for you. Kids loved the gelato for desert. The Tartufo Classico (like a frozen icecream Ferrero Rocher) was lovely. Service not included. Would definitely recommend and return."

"Staff polite but not attentive. When you sit down for dinner and the first thing you hear is a long list of not available meals and a list of the only last ones available does not set the right mood for the night. The food we could order was nice but we had to ask for drinks and we were just left. The management need to look at improving and stock up the kitchen. At the end both card machines run out out paper so no receipts. We will not rush back any time soon. Disappointing."

"This restaurant serves stunning tapas a real foodie paradise in a casual pub situation. the broken foods are light and crisp, fresh and authentic. many care goes into the creation of these dishes and it really shows when the products come on the table. the churros for dessert was a perfect end for a great evening."

"Excellent food and service. It was a return visit as we have enjoyed it here before. We ate really early so extremely quiet. I would imagine that when busier the buzz would be good. Also, when paying, it was pointed out that I may have given the wrong tip (more than the cost of the meal). The honesty was much appreciated. We will visit again Many thanks"

"Hadn't been here for many years, so thought we'd give it a whirl and to be honest we weren't disappointed. We took the set menu for two and after rather large selection of starters we followed with duck, decent proportion too. The courses were perfectly timed, but then the night began to unravel. Last thing you want two courses into three is a minute delay. By the time the main dishes arrived our stomachs were beginning to tell us we were no longer hungry. We asked where our food was and were told we are busy' . Restaurant was only half full but they seemed to be taking endless takeaway orders. Food was lovely and there was a good atmosphereThey banged on service charge at the end which we wouldn't have minded if the service had been better. So another restaurant where they ask you to pay a service charge for the privilege of spending loads of money to have food brought ten yards to you. I like to decide my own tip on merit.Overall would i return? Yes I would."
