I dare to end the Chessfondue. high quality service with vincent is an incredible host. a tip: leave something space for the desserts. they are. the best! definitely a restaurant that does not miss when they visit montchavin. thanks again for the great evening. we'll be back soon. aurel"

"Last year we had the most amazing meal at Le Chaudron. It was so good, our teenagers were talking about going back all year. This year, the food is still nice, but not quite as good. The atmosphere is a little less homely and a bit more impersonal. There were a lot of little things that made it less enjoyable. There was no plate for the cooked meat from the 'Hot Stone ' meal and a bucket of frites for the tables. The young waitress was out of her depths and that made service slow and erratic. You can still have a nice meal here, but we no longer dream about the amazing 'Le Chaudron '"

"We rocked up for lunch on a busy Friday market day. The pavement tables are next to the road but are also in full sun so who cares about the noise? A beautiful day at the end of October meant that we could sit there in T-shirts and enjoy, not only the sun, but the simple but amazingly tasty food. A lunch of a magret steak, and chips fried in duck fat was so delicious that, without doubt, this was my favourite lunch of our two week stay in France"
