"We called here for a drink in the years when they visit calais, many paints. it has a good outdoor terrace surrounded by glass screens, which is very helpful at the usual windy days in calais. a very good glass from Bordeaux...red costs 2,50 € and a grimberg beer costs 5,50 €"

"We were travelling as 2 families (9 of us in total) and stopped off for a late lunch here, after reading some good recommendations about the food. Whilst the choice on the menu is not extensive i.e. approx 4 choices of starter, main and dessert...each, the food is absolutely outstanding and the portions are sufficient even for large appetites. All the food is cooked and prepared fresh and it shows, and although the staff spoke little English, they were very accommodating and we were made to feel comfortable. I would say that the main course I had was one of the best meals I had in a long time, and everyone in our group agreed on the high quality of the food. C'est magnifique!"

"Rather disappointed in the service in such a high end restaurant. The amuse bouche was not wow, but didn't get chance to eat it anyway as the starter came rushing in. The lamb was fab apart from most of it being red raw! Too many super restaurants to worry about going back. I think the staff need a manager. Shame. It should have been special. I am just telling you the worst bits, but there should not have been any."

"Very good restaurant. we took some Euro menus and we were pleasantly surprised. mouth bulbs offered entry: seafood plate (excellent) dish: fish raie with homemade fries: cakes cake cooked cream burned etc. very well. Very nice personal. our children have been very well received I recommend"
