"Very good address! group of 9 people we were very well received at 1:30. the dish of the day (line cut with mushroom sauce) was really melting and succulent. other dishes served as well. I recommend it warmly."

"Visited here after looking round the castle. Had the pizza style options which was great and we sat outside in the sheltered area while it rained. No complaints it just didn’t reach a 5 star potential for me."

"This restaurant located near the castle of castelnaud offers a beautiful shaded terrace and an indoor room. The fares that remain reasonable are less in view of the slightly light content of the plates. the chosen cakes were pleasant but little topping and the fries plates to 4,50€ brought a burnt tantinet, a little damage! the service as well as the reception on the other hand were pleasant and smiling. Thank you very much.The : the situation near the castle, the shaded terrace and the staff.The - : prices prorated from the contents of the plates."

The kitchen is in the restaurant room. we have enjoyed ourselves in the sense of our own and in the sense of figurative. We recommend without hesitation."

"We finished our tour of the castle at about 1pm so didn't have time to go back to the bikes, get kitted up and look for somewhere to have lunch. So we decided to eat on site. Very often the food at attractions isn't all that great, but here we were pleasantly surprised. The waitress was friendly and helped us with the menu. She recommended the tavern special which was a confit duck leg, some delicious garlic potatoes, and a huge salad dressed with walnut oil and goats cheese. As it was a nice day, eating on the terrace with such great views was lovely. It really was very good and very reasonably priced. If I visit the castle again I would also eat here again."

"We arrived a little after midday, having spent an enjoyable morning at the castle. The restaurant is a minute from the castle, hidden down a side lane. We ate on the shaded terrace, with a lovely view of the castle and river. The menu is not very extensive, but each option sounded delicious. The children had croque-monsieur rustique and the menu enfant, which comprised a drink, breaded chicken breast with frites and a scoop of ice cream or a waffle. I opted for the grande salade Perigordine, a massive plate of salad with local duck and walnut specialities. It was delicious and filling. My husband had the set menu, choosing a chicken brochette with pilaf rice, and a prune and almond crumble. Both were well cooked and presented. Service is a little slow, but we were not in any hurry. It was a lovely experience."
