"A wonderful shop with a wide variety of coffees, teas, and every beautiful food item made (dried goods and chocolate, nothing fresh of course). We got gifts there, spices, chocolate, as well as some small kitchen items (ravioli maker, tea steeper). The staff was really friendly and helpful when we needed them, and I'd love to go back if I'm in the area again some day."

"We had booked a 3-day stay in the hotel over the brittany ferries and spent a whole day exploring the bretagne, we thought we would eat in our first evening in the restaurant. Oh, my God, it was like it was going back in time. musak, couples talk in...whispers, a waiter, who obviously barely tolerated the fact that he had to visit guests. I noticed that I couldn't go through anything in the kitchen when I thought we were sitting right next to the door. I accept that it was a celebration, and I suspect that the cook had the night free. it reminded me seriously of fawlty towers and the "cook 's just opened the tin ' notice. that was terrible. I left most of my meals and when the waiter came to clear the table, he was quite fishing that I 't deleted my plate. he did not ask if there were problems with the meal and, as I had not eaten, I had not felt that I had to give it out! the only trigger factor was the Irish coffee cream brûlée, which I had dessert. I would eat it again, but please don't let me eat the gum truthahn escalope again!"
