"We had a tasting menu called 6 temps and we did not feel the flavours that would normally be present in a dish prepared by a Michelin star chef! Almost every dish was missing this special touch. The highlight was the cheese tray. As for the atmosphere in the room, we had small fruit flies circling around our dishes for most of the evening and you wonder where they came from inside a restaurant. I could understand if we were sitting outdoor, but not indoor."

"It is only from time to time one comes across a superb restaurant. These chance finds are rare, as very few restaurants are so friendly, provide an efficient service, and are passionate about the cooking and presentation. We were back this evening second time round and the food and service were impressive, despite the restaurant being full. The home made duck fois gras was kobster was the tour de force, but the steak was also cooked exactly right. À point was à point and saignant was exactly that too. The quality of the meat was very good and was tasty. The fish was also perfect. The desserts were nice but the tiramisù could be less runny."

"Most important at the start were the excellent staff, excellent lunch menu, pennies above the cheaper cafes but turned out to be way above the average in quality. About e20 if memory serves for three courses but about e15 for an entre and main which considering how good it was is truly brilliant. The salad starters, were nearly a main course, brilliantly done, with a poached egg on top of my wife's duck gesier's, and an excellent caeser's set the scene followed by aile (skates wings) and a beef in sauce. You would often pay 50 per cent more in smaller provincial towns for this quality let alone expensive Deauville. An excellent pitcher of wine, also nice quality and a quality bistro ambience. Thinking about this review I have just added another star as there was nothing to complain about and in this expensive town it stood out as gteat for the quality and price."
