"My wife and I visited sawadi with family and were very impressed. the restaurant has recently been extended and a complete make-over is preserved. it is clean and modern. the food was wonderful and the portions generous. the service was what they expect in a Thai restaurant – friendly, professional and excellent. highly recommended!"

"The Poukhoun is a laotian restaurant read: cuisine from Laos and it's hands down our favourite restaurant in the whole Duisburg area. We have several delicious vegan friendly asian restaurants in Duisburg but Poukhoun leads the list. It opened in early 2014 and it's run entirely by a small laotian family. Mama cooks, the two daughters and son help in the kitchen and wait the tables and papa Poukhoun occasionally checks in on the guests. The food is superb and everything is fresh and handmade. All the sauces, spring rolls and everything other asian restaurants might buy as a convenience product is handmade here which you can taste. The laotian touch is something unique in the asian cuisine and all dishes are great, especially the currys and the ones with peanut sate sauce or the laotian national dishes like the salads. They have a seperate vegan menu so you can simply pick something from there without having to ask if it's really vegan. House made iceteas or cocktails are amazing and the desserts are also great. Even if we're stuffed I always need a bowl of tapioca pearls in coconut cream for dessert. Sometimes they have sticky rice, too. The staff is the kindest group of people you could ever meet and it's always a treat to go there. Please check it out, it's worth it! Cheers from the Krümelküche. :"

"The buffet in front of the place is toll! you order from a certain buffet card and get the food freshly prepared to the table on a plate from which everyone can then serve to have to get it out of warming boxes, as in many other buffet resaturants. You can reorder when the plate is empty. care is also taken that little to no food must be used away. the food in the buffet are very delicious and the pipe in front of location very family we feel very welcome every time. thanks to the owner family : especially the buffet before place is great! they order from an additional buffet menu and the food is prepared to their table fresh on a plate for everyone to help themselves instead of getting it from warm boxes like in many other buffet restaurants. they can reorder when the data set is empty. this also ensures that little or no eating has to be thrown away. the dishes in the buffet are very tasty and the on-site management is very informative, we always feel very welcome. thanks to the owner family :"

"Today with the delivery ordered for lunch. The food should be delivered at 12:15 and was there at 12:30. All right. The prices are something against it. 18 Sushi Maki and three chicken skewers for 15 euros. The chicken teeth were very small and cold. The bottles weren't in two places. 1 star trigger for the chicken. The sushi was delicious and fresh. No objections."

"Great restaurant, nice owners and employees. eating is very good, for the price unbeatable, as there is a steak buffet with bark fillet, lamb etc., fish buffet, Mongolian buffet and the standard buffet as well as a dessert buffet. all for 15,90€. the environment is beautiful and tasteful, not as mass production as in most Chinese restaurants. it is really worth going there and we are happy to come back."

"The seats are very cozy and the distance between the tables I find very suitable. There you don't get the feeling of eating sardines on the can evening. From our point of view, a visit to the region is absolutely recommended. The waiters are always unusually friendly and extremely polite. This gives us much pleasure every visit. Try that unique cooking room, on the menu there is something in the directive for everyone."
