"This is currently called golden house. that was the most beautiful Christmas Eve dinner. they offer a beautiful atmosphere with tasteful decoration and eating was fantastic. even better were the most attractive employees."

"I had chosen this takeaway based on the good Trip Advisor reviews as we havent eaten there for years, but the reviews did not reflect what we received last night, so I wanted to balance them out a little. We ordered Kung Po Chicken, Salt Spice Chicken, Chilli Black Bean Chicken and Sweet Sour Chicken Balls. All of the dishes, without exception had mostly dried out, overcooked and chewy chicken. You found the odd one that was lovely, so it would seem old and new batches are mixed not pleasant and they didn't get eaten, just dissected! The chilli black bean was sweet and hot more of a tomato/chilli base than a black bean. I didn't like the sauce, but my husband did. The Salt Spice too wasn't good. A lot of the chicken pieces had no flavour whatsoever, I can only assume they throw in a basic battered chicken with the vegetables/salt spices and mix briefly they were not coated or flavoursome. All in all, a waste of £35 as most of it ended up in the bin. Shame, as when these guys first opened, the food was fantastic, perhaps its changed hands?"

"Featured and recommended in the Good Pub Guide and Good Beer Guide. Locals' village pub. Light lunch of an excellent home made pea and ham soup. An average prawn cocktail. A benefit is smaller portions are available with the main courses. Doggy friendly. Log burner in the cosy public bar. Probably lost some of its pubby charm following refurbishment. Friendly crew."

"Attended the gin and nibbles evening last night! Wow, everything about the Agriculture Inn was perfect. Beautiful gardens, amazing food and a massive gin selection. Karl, Jo and the team did an amazing job! Definitely my new favourite place for food! Those spam fritters and that Teriyaki beef!!!! "
