"That was a great little restaurant! It was just open while we were home on our road trip. 5 small courses, bacon themed and all delicious. $65 a person. We brought our 10-year-old daughter and the owner, Donna, was perfectly fine with us but did not eat them (the food was fed a little for her taste buds, although they enjoy 3 of the 5 she tasted from me. She brought her a part of the Dessert course, super sweet, and chatted with us for a while over the evening. I am a dessert lover (dessert first! and very enjoyed the bacon tomatoes sorbet and gooey buttercake with a kind of bacon glaze. Your menu changes every week. You have fabulous ban-y-era playing music, so brilliant. And the cocktails are amazing! I'll be back next time."

"My only regret is not staying here longer! We dropped in to see if we could get a cheese board to go because we wanted to drive out to a winery and take a snack. My husband and I each wanted something a little different and they were very sweet about accommodating our request. We got some bad news about one of the cheeses not being available, but it was more than made up from by what we did get. Everything was fantastic, but my favorite thing on the board was the honey. It was so sweet, flowery, and delicious. If I ever get back to Eureka Springs, I would make sure to come back here for a few drinks while enjoying the space. They have books set out to browse through and really great art."

"The restaurant looks beautifully decorated with a colonial vibe and small tables. We're our food here. The server was very well trained. We started with soup soup. The portion size was decent for an appetizer. They delivered some house baked rye bread and dice of butter. The breads were decent. For the leading actor I went with the carving and my husband ordered the Bavarian plate. The scavenger was good, but for my Indian taste buds it was a little less salty, but nothing to complain. The Bavarian plate was nice and heavy with meat and potato pancakes etc. The food was pretty decent. I took a cup of coffee that they refilled later. The coffee was very simple, just like a gas station. Overall we liked the place. It was a busy dinner hour at that time."

"Happy Cow said Grotto could veganize dishes. We reserved a table, but they were from Portobello-Pilz and couldn't offer anything other than charred greens. Everything is cooked on the same grill, so some ethical vegans cannot eat here. I reserved several days before the open table and sent the restaurant a message they never reacted to. Always call. Always."
