"Ate here today for the first time with my fiance and daughter. Food was perfect. I had the full irish and it is hands down the best breakfast I have had in town in a long time. My fiance had the veggie breakfast and she was a very happy and my daughter had pancakes, she was also very happy. Will definitely be back again."

"If they are looking for traditional Spanish tapas while in galway, then they drive to cava bodega near the city center. in the cozy restaurant we enjoyed our tapas and wein in the ground floor. service was friendly and welcoming. more recommended: try the patatas bravas, charred corn and the wild mustels. our three favorites!"

"I stayed in The Park Hotel many years before. It has stayed the very same decor. In my opinion it would benefit greatly from a little update/refresh for example the taps in the main public bathroom on the ground floor are so worn the silver has worn off and revealed a brown/rusted layer). The pros of the hotel are the location as expected is great. The food is tasty and portions are generous. The staff are very well trained and accommodating. I would say that the staff are the strength of this hotel as there is a personal touch not often received in many of the other chain hotels apart from the lady on reception at our checkout who was not as friendly as you would expect at front of house). Con: Unfortunately in the room that I stayed, number 213, there is an annoying noise outside room overlooks grubby back of buildings/carpark) I suspect it comes from some sort of generator? So I would avoid this room! Also there was an issue with noise outside by room at 3.30 in the morning, there was some sort of service room containing pipes beside my room and a member of staff spent a considerable amount of time rattling with keys to get it open."

"First time here and can't wait to return, loved it! We didn't have booking and called in on the off chance and luckily they were able to take us. We ordered from a set menu for 2 and to our surprise got everything on it. It was absolutely delicious . The service was very good and the restaurant was very busy with a lovely atmosphere . Highly recommended and will definitely return when we go back to Galway."

"Hotel is well cared and the property kept clean, rooms are comfortable and hotel staff is super friendly, they strive to help and if they have someone who speaks your language they will make sure you are all set from time to time. Hotel room is clean, has a kettle and fridge and bath tub. Being on a summer stay, it was warm without using the radiator. Hotel location is about 35 minute walk distance from Eyre Sq. city centre and there are least one Galway bus line (409 I believe) making in and outbound routes at euro1.90, so you have both options beside taxis to visit the town. Hotel staff will gladly get a taxi as well. The hotel looks mainly used by couples of all ages, business persons. Not sure if it's good option for toddlers and young children, however. There is a Tesco about 1km away and a Spar corner store about 400 metres for refreshments and the hotel has restaurant which I did not use opened for dinner and lunch with assortment of options. Breakfast can be paid apart and you have 2 different options, buffet and an additional continental. Our stay was super pleasant and from the hotel you have access to a lot of scenic views and attractions on the west of Ireland. The hotel has a big parking space if you are renting a car."
