"Most do not realize that this location is independently owned and operated it is not part of the Cyrano chain. This location is owned by a greek family and its menu is completely different from the rest of the Cyrano locations. The food and service here are simply fantastic!!! The lamb shank is a can 't miss !"

"It was our first time here even I live so close by. I heard a lot of good things about this little place so I was very excited to finally visit it. First impression-super cosy and very nice friendly staff. A lot of good small dishes with warm bread. Apple juice-out of this world! I eat duck as a warm dish-amazing! I just would recommend to change rise to sweet potatoes pure, because the richness of the sauce will connect everything in perfect harmony. There is always a place for improvement and that would be a dessert menu. Other than that-chefs kiss! Cheers!"

"This is our favorite restaurant in Göteborg by far. We tried almost everything at the menu and we liked every food we had. There are two great things about this place, first is the knowledgeable friendly guy who is running it. Second is the food which didn't get asimilated into the Swedish taste."

"It is a small restaurant, but what a restaurant it is!! Each dish is a little diffrent in its taste. I love food overall and can say that this is some of the best food I have ever tasted. At a good price too, each dish goes for 100 SEK and a lot of food for the price. If I ever get sick or sad, I'd love a bowl of here."

"Modern fine dining with intriguing new flavor combinations, off the beaten path near Järntorget Bang impressed us. First the food. There is a suggested menu that has to be ordered by everyone at the table, or you can order individual dishes we did the latter to maximise the experience, sharing everything. The dishes started off decidedly simple yet delicious, with a few bold flavors in classic combinations pickles with sourcream and honey, anchovies with grilled lemon and bread. Then, as the meal progressed, we were treated to increasingly complex and wonderful dishes that nevertheless held true to a few strong core flavors celeriac with lovage and toasted hazelnuts, lamb tartare with burnt cabbage and samphire, duck breast with turnip and buckthorn. In short, we left not only satisfied but inspired. The service was immaculate, though maybe this was in some part due to us being the only diners at the time. After chatting with the attentive, knowledgable, and charming waitress we learned that while Bang is packed in the weekends, weekdays are painfully slow. This is simply criminal if I lived in Gothenburg I 'd be a regular. Lastly, and perhaps most surprising, the pricing feels very fair, which is a breath of fresh air. For the same calibre of experience, I have paid significantly steeper prices elsewhere. For me, this small discrepancy would make the difference between Bang being a yearly visit vs. a monthly visit. Needless to say, we will be back."
