"The octopus starter was rather messy and too small, however my main course of gnocchi and duck was excellent. The wine we were served was also very good. By cons, side atmosphere was spoiled. To a noisy group was added the staff who put on super loud music, we couldn't hear each other speak. They must have wanted to please the group, which nevertheless fled the camp outside. We would have stayed for a dish and a few more drinks but with the cheap club atmosphere we left quickly. Too bad but I wouldn't recommend the Edmond if you want to spend a pleasant/relaxed evening."

"We ate there last night, nice restaurant, nice atmosphere not very extensive Italian menu. Service was good. I had the table d'hôte which consisted of seafood soup which was OK. followed by the Tagliatelle with seafood. It tasted OK but by no means fine Italian cuisine. Desert consisted of Cannoli which were great. We had a very nice evening.Unfortunately after about 2 hours, i started getting excruciating cramps followed by explosive diar....I suspect it was caused by the seafood as I was the only one who ordered it and the only one sick. My wife had the Veal which was good but very oily. Will I return? Not Likely."

"Rain or shine, plenty of tables outside. And many more inside... We were there for a light lunch, and ordered Cesar salad. It came with plenty of chicken, and some small pieces of bacon. The lettuce came as one large piece, first time we had...seen that one... But it was fresh and tasty. Service was quick and attentive. The restaurant is situated in an old tobacco factory."

"We decided to try a restaurant we had never been to. My husband started reading reviews and La Shed had some pretty good reviews. We were not disappointed. We went around 6:00pm on a Friday night and when we arrived we realized it was the 2nd night of the Montreal Canadians playing NY in the playoff series. Most tables were reserved and when we were asked if we had reservations and said no, it was not problem they found us a spot for two. The service we received was in English and the food was served fast and was hot! We order the ribs with sides. Every thing was great and we left before the game started, as we can only imagine that place went wild that night with the Canadians winning in overtime. We will be back."
