"Booked in advance as we were a party of 16. All fine on the phone, reservation made no problem. When we arrived, we'd been split up (half on a table upstairs, half on a table downstairs) as they'd received more bookings since I phoned and they'd split us up so they could fit more tables in.... Not a good start. Waiter was very friendly and helpful (owner considerably less so on the subject of the reservation) and most of the food was tasty and well cooked. However, my husband and I ordered the cote de boeuf for 2 (medium to rare) and when it turned up it was pretty much inedible - over cooked to the point of no return and a really chewy piece of meat. We complained and were told that it had been rare when it had left the kitchen (it must have taken a detour via Australia before it reached our table) and that we'd eaten it all (we only managed to choke down half and then sent the rest back) so it must have been fine and we were clearly complaining about nothing. Customer service is not something that the owner of this restaurant understands. After much arguing, it was begrudgingly agreed that we would only have to pay half the cost of the beef. I would not go back."

"I went twice to this pizzeria once early when I was the only one there and had a very quick duck and potato pizza. Second time it was very busy but they squeezed me in and still served me quickly despite the place being...full. As with another pizza place I ate in, they also don't cut up their pizzas into slices. Why not? of a problem here as their pizzas are huge and overflow the plates so you need to move the pizza around to cut it.Huge choice of pizzas on their menu and from what I saw easily the most popular pizzeria in La Plagne."
