"I was recently in this restaurant with my family. The place is lovely. We felt like we went back 50 years. A very rustic and absolutely not touristic place. The menu is very simple and not rich in choice but enough to be able to eat something really typical French such as duck or cheese or ham. The staff was very friendly and also the girl who served us at the table was very nice. Maybe we were among the very few Italians I've ever seen in that restaurant. Thanks for the good experience"

"Lavardens was awarded most beautiful village in France. And this restaurant tops it up! Superb surroundings, smiling service and authentic and homemade cuisine. Two menus only with local food, all prepared by the owner and chef Brigitte. Portions are huge and cooked deliciously. Knowing that...everything is made on site and that nothing comes out of a tin is a bonus for the price. I strongly recommend it!"
