"Cafe Mott is tucked away on the left just above Mottaret centre when you ski down from Plattiers side of the mountain. Well worth finding for an inexpensive lunch or a great BBQ steak. Late in the season it gets the sun on the terrace so this is our favourite time to visit. Steaks here are really good value as is the Plat Du Jour. Well worth findign this one."

"I've visited adray telebar for years and it's perfection. eating is thoroughly excellent and they will always be greeted by smiles (if slightly french) faces. in almost any restaurant in Meribel/Mottaret/Courchevel I appreciate this up there with the best low key, great on a sunny day or in a bitter blooming lunch or in the evening for outstanding food. the best chips in the 3 valleys are not ashamed to order many! try it and I guarantee that they are back!"

"Went here with a group of friends while staying in meribel, the food here is fantastic, not one fault from the 8 of us, we most had steak and every steak was cooked to perfection, it's extremely reasonable priced too, great selection of drinks, great wine, great service!"

"We are very polite English people and have visited this restaurant over the last 20 years. The proprietor has always been unfriendly and rude, but this year was something else. Our first day we had a late lunch there and asked for no tomato in...two burgers, as both teenagers had server allergies when younger to raw tomatoes and won't even try them now. She said it was to much trouble and to pick them out, which meant them leaving the tops and the cheese. Then we had a booking for 12pm one day, but friends we were meeting because of ski lift times, could not meet us until 10am, so we asked to put our table back the day before by one hour. She thought about it and then said no, it was too much of a bother, so our friend quite rightly so cancelled our lunchtime booking. We had a table booked for the Friday night, but not wanting to risk her just being difficult, we organised a different dinner and when I went in to cancel our table for the Friday night, she said she had cancelled it anyway! I am glad I had the decency to act appropriately. The food is okay, but we will not be spending any of our hard earned money at this place again!"

"This place has got to be one of the best restaurants we've been to on our many trips to the Alps.The restaurant is part of the hotel we were staying at, and as such we ate in here pretty much every night.The prices are far from cheap (but after all you're in Meribel, so I'm sure it's no more expensive than anywhere else here.) Our meals were included in our hotel/holiday price, so I think we got amazing value overall with the hotel, facilities, and being able to eat in the restaurant every night.The food was excellent, and the portions are enormous. The staff were excellent, super friendly, keen to explain the food choices, and often providing complimentary drinks to finish the evening.All the food choices were superb, but the French onion soup was the best I've ever had, and the rack of lamb was to die for. The desserts were rich and filling, but all made onsite. Couldn't fault the place, really loved the rustic atmosphere and buzz of the place.Thoroughly recommended."

"Went for a dinner and it was fab ! Steak and fondue was amazing !Price - medium range. Quality of food exceptional. Easy to find in the centre and bus stop is just outside. Book a table for the evening as it's busy and lunch time be careful as they close around 3 in the centre."
