"We were staying in the apartment opposite L'Ardoise and called in with our 2 children after returning from a busy day out. We were looking for burgers and they were on their main menu at €17 each or €10 for a Kids burger. The burgers were served with burnt chips a cheese sauce and no salad. Bottles of water were very expensive. One childs burger was to be plain and arrived smothered in cheese sauce, another was under cooked after we had requested they all be well done. Service was slow. We commented to the manager about the burnt chips and the under cooked burger; his response was "this is France" and he walked away!"
