"This was very authentic Chinese and I thought everything we ordered was good with large portions. We got the fried jumbo ginger shrimp and the eggplant with basil sauce. The basil sauce was soo good. I think I need to try more things on the menu."

"Reposting my review. Ordered 2 orders of chicken wings and was told 10 minutes. I arrive ten minutes later and then I am told it will be ten more minutes. I am then given cold, dried up chicken wings probably left over from the previous day, and that?s not a full 2 orders of chicken wings. I have ordered from here many times before, it?s hit or miss but this time was just the last straw. I am one of those people who love chicken wings from the chinese restaurant. Yup, that?s all I really order and then I dip it in hot sauce and ketchup, pretty simple order. I particularly love chicken wings from the chinese restaurant so this is not my first time ordering chicken wings, I know when I was given OLD dried up chicken wings instead of fresh ones. The photos shown is what I got that was supposed to be 2 orders of chicken wings?.I live 5 minutes away from this location however I will be driving ALL the way to golden china on SW Cary parkway when I need my chicken wing fix. I have ordered from here many times over the last 3 years and the quality of the food just keeps getting worse. I once received. a small Shrimp fried rice with 3 shrimp in it?. I will not be going back to this place."

"We liked this place. It’s pretty typical of what you expect from dim sum. The dishes were all fresh and well made. I made a reservation and it was very crowded but we were seated right away. It was a little chaotic but that’s par for the course with dim sum places in my experience. I’d go back and I’d id recommend it to someone."

"Everything was wonderful at this beautiful restaurant: food, service, ambience. We will definitely come back. The usual take-out joint can’t be compared to G.58. This is high-end modern Chinese. The ingredients are top notch and the chefs treat them with the proper respect. After being greeted warmly by the host and seated in the spacious dining room, we started with a pot of tea (pu ehr) while we were choosing from the menu. There were three in our party, and we decided to order 4 delicious appetizers each one perfectly and uniquely prepared: foie gras cherries (almost too pretty to eat) lotus root tea smoked salmon Jiangnan salad The two entrees, both served with rice, were both absolutely fantastic: signature short rib with black truffle sauce 1/2 Peking duck We also added a side of asparagus and dan dan noodles. This was plenty of food for 3 adults. Probably enough for four, but it was so tasty we finished it all."

"They were not taking dine in's. However they did have tables out side. They could have went out occasionally and wiped down the tables. The food is why I give them 3.5. It was a bit unflavorful. But their portion was good."

"I went to Travinia for my birthday the other day. We needed a quick dinner, under an hour, and our waitress definitely met this goal. She was great. She brought everything out in time, was attentive and sweet. However, I had to take off a star for food problems. First, the bread was just... not good. It was not soft or chewing; it felt hard to touch and it was quite dry. The best part was the garlic butter they spread on the top, and this is the only thing that made them tolerable. Now I enjoyed my main dish, but my friend ordered the lasagna, a duck that cost a few dollars more than my meal and came in the same size court, and he might get half the food I did. It was disappointing. I enjoy the dessert and the drinks, but the above problems have upset our spirits, so I make this evaluation four stars. But overall, I still think this is a great restaurant and I? I still eat in the future. I hope they increase their game a bit!"
