"Tried to call them to make a last minute reservation and got voicemail. Hung up,,, and a few minutes later THEY called me back. Add a star just for that call back. Managed to accommodate us for dinner. This place is tucked in and not obvious from the street. Very friendly staff and service. Loved the food highly recommend the duck parfait, salmon (really really melted in your mouth , lamb (which seems to be a staple in NZ as expected? Highly recommend for some fine dining."

"First things first. This place is amazing. From the spectacular position of the restaurant overlooking arguably one of the best sunsets New Zealand has to offer, to the personal touches from the friendly and attentive staff, this place, I could not fault.<br/ <br/ We frequent New Zealand and in particular Queenstown having only been less than a year earlier to look for wedding venues for our big day. We looked around to no real avail and almost gave up on our wedding being there until earlier this week. We thought we'd go for a quick visit and we stumbled accross what was last seen as a construction site was now Queenstowns best restaurant. (IMO)<br/ <br/ The signature dish is the seafood chowder which we shared as an entrée along with some breads. I could've had it over and over. So good! I had the 350g eye on the bone done Med. Rare, pino noir jus, green beans and mash. It literally melted in my mouth.<br/ <br/ We had a few drinks together before retiring with a full belly and a new venue for our wedding.<br/ <br/ This place was only recently opened in November of 2016 and in my opinion clearly setting the bar for other restaurants to step up to. A massive thanks goes to the restaurant manager Kenny. His enthusiasm and willingness to help wherever he could was a huge part in making our decision. 10/10<br/"

"The staff seemed known about celiac disease minus the waiter instruction re 'es depends on how celiac you are, whether you can have our deep fried foods'. Lol So, celiac, don't eat the deep fried foods as they don't have separate frit. They had a few options on the menu, not much, but I was sold at pig bell! It was Asian style and delish, along with seasonal vegis. The waiter made sure to inform the kitchen of celiac disease. Food was delish and I had no problems."

"Usually full but fortunately the turnover rate is quite fast. Oysters and tuna are sold out. We had the scallops, prawns, seafood linguine, beef Wellington and steak. They didn’t disappoint. Worth a try"

"What a great experience. One of the best in Queenstown as is the one in Auckland. Such an amazing menu with so many things on it you need to go in a group of 6 so you can order a heap of stuff... dumplings, calamari, massaman, kingfish and many more. Do not miss it."

"We came by after a day trip to Wanaka. It was quite hard to find on cow lane since it was hidden in the corner. The place was really nice and cosy, with only a few tables around. It was nice and quiet and so was quite relaxing.<br/ <br/ Service was really good. Given enough time to look through the menu and gave assistance when required.<br/ <br/ Food was quite nice. Started with the Scampi. It was really nice but I found the pancake tasted quite floury. Had the beef main and that was really nice."
