"I cannot fathom why this place is so popular, with so many people eating there. The char siu, zhar yuk and siew yuk are ridiculously salty, the roasted chicken and duck are tough and chewy and bland, the noodles come in a watery bland sauce. Sides like the soy sauce tea egg and tofu are decent, but the beansprouts are merely doused in the dripping sauce from the meats, so can be quite salty. The wantons have too much cornstarch so are oddly soft and fatty, not having much meat. Prices are not cheap, where a standard plate of wanton noodles costing about RM7.50. They sell whole ducks for RM100, and a number of people come to order them to takeaway."
