"Fantastic food on offer here, if the starters are a tad expensive. The restaurant offers high class dining with a rustic aesthetic that doesn't quite gel, but I do appreciate the decor choice. Sadly today was let down by average service. Wrong desserts brought to us, wine forgotten about and arrived after our dinner, plates took an age to be cleared away etc. However, one of the nicer restaurants near us and worth a visit."

"Best test of a gastro pub is a busy Sunday lunch, and the Boot excelled with great service, friendly and polite, and really high quality food. Plenty of choice, not just the simple 3 roasts. With our party of 5 adults and 3 young children we had a variety of selections and all were top notch. Full marks for the tender roast beef and the most interesting fish curry. A little wait for the desserts was worth it and the pistachio soufflé was best ever. They’re doing everything right and deserve to do well. We had Doombar beer with mains but checked out the wine list and it had a broad range at various price points. The mark-ups weren’t too excessive, which is a relief in the post covid world."

"Been wanting to try this restaurant for ages and finally we got here on bank hoilday Monday great variety of options and separate fish menu too! "Visited there this Saturday. I had the Thai chicken with three spices.blew my taste by, the combination was the best I have experienced. Mum haddock in tempura batter, which she loved and it was light as it should be. Sister had the haddock without and said it was so fresh"

"I didn't like this pub. It was full of drunk locals who were loud and seemed to think the pub was there for their sole benefit. OK It was coronation day, but they didn't look like royalists to me. The beer wasn't that great either. Sorry. I know a lot of people like this place, but when I commented my thoughts to someone the other night, they concurred."

"Excellent experience. Staff were welcoming, polite and attentive. Timing of food was perfect. Everyone said their food was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty, will definitely be back if we are in the area. As a family Indian cuisine is regularly eaten by us and we have rarely tasted better. Highly Recommended!"
