"If you would like what I can only describe as custard on rice with 3 pieces of (I think, or hope chicken then come here) absolutely disgusting!! Phoned up to complain and they asked if I’d eaten “Thai food” before? This is what you get! She said Spring rolls had no meat in them, just grease!! And over priced!!! If I had a did, I wouldn’t let them eat this muck!!"

"This is a local chinese and I was impressed that they had vegetarian options which you could add bean curd too. I had the satay and it was terrible. Totally tasteless and not that much bean curd came with it. The only thing that had...any flavour was almost raw onion that mainly made up the dish. Ordered crispy seaweed (which annoyingly came with fish seasoning on top) and boiled rice. Got some free prawn crackers with it but I'm vegetarian."

"Very welcoming and very good service. the staff was very helpful when I asked about Veggie options, and made sure that I cook my meal separately from the meat. still good Kovid measures at location and place, with screens up, to use masks, and handsanitary on the tables, as well as at the entrance - more than many larger companies do now. look at the opening times (as they are busy for breakfast as lunchtime) in order not to miss!"

"We popped into the Royal George in Thornbury for a Sunday roast and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. We were greeted and felt welcome as soon as we arrived, we had great seating in a bay window, the girls behind the bar were attentive , polite and enthusiastic. The food was fantastic and the portions were more than enough no matter how hungry you were. I would highly recommend this place for a Sunday roast."
