"This was time and money very well spent! We arrived at 12:00 am and left at 7:00pm. We were met by the chef who had been BBQing pork burgers all night. We each received an apron that we got to keep. It was a.byob fair, although we did receive wine later in the evening. We were divided into groups where each group prepared and cooked a specialty dish. Then each group served their food to each table. The tips the chef gave us on foods, preparations, how to BBQ properly were all awesome. Food was delishish and fresh. It was an absolutely fabulous time! Would highly recommend!!!"

"I loved this joint it's menu, variety of items, the excellent friendly service, and the fun decor. I visited for brunch with a local and was surprised it was available on a weekday! The menu had smaller items, vegetarian options, traditional eggs, and seafood. It was a bright and friendly. The location on Water street was central to many of the shops and sites downtown."

"I hadn 't been to this restaurant in about 10 years, but had gift cards so decided to try it out again. When we arrived my wife and I were seated at a table to the right of the entrance very close to the door which certainly must have been the worst seat in the restaurant which may have detracted from the ambiance. I heard later that the table next to us was initially put there but they asked to move. Our waitress was kind and professional and provided good service. My wife and I both ordered the striploin and frites. After we ordered our waitress came and told us this is a Californian striploin and wanted to make sure we were fine with this. I wasn 't sure exactly what this meant, but having had striploin many times I figured it was fine. When it arrived it was 2 inches thick and looked much more reminiscent of a filled, but was much tougher. It wasn 't bad, but certainly was not what I expect and the tenderness wasn 't great. Unfortunately for the price (49+tax) there are much better options in the city (Merchant Tavern comes to mind). We also found the atmosphere not to be our preference, but this is certainly a personal preference and I believe was influenced by the table we received. Not sure we 'll visit again given the plethora of great dining options downtown. Overall an okay meal."

"Very nice place, looks great and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you open the door. We had no reservation at Vday and they were nice to find us a table. Our waiter Michael is the BESTEST. He always smiles, has great people skills, is a talented bartender and fun, even in a busy night! The food was great. I had the Antipasto the Brie Bundles. My friend had the Shrimps appetizer and the Ossoloni. Everything was great, well cooked, great presentation, generous portions. Ask him to surprise you with a drink and you will not be disappointed! He even gave us recommendations in the city! 10/10 Would go back at any time!"

"Absolutely loved everything. Just strolled by and read the menu and we were in. My wife and I shared 4 starters as recommended by the chef- all amazing and served in the perfect order and timing. His flavours are wonderful. Dessert (a rhubarb based dish) was also amazing. From the raw tuna to the moose rage to his special fried rice to the crispy duck- just so good. Highly recommended- sorry no pics, we just ate and enjoyed. Oh, nice drinks menu too !"
