"Food was good for the most part. Only downsides were they were out of something at 5:30PM on a Saturday and the cornbread was a bit dry. Our drinks were the best part and of course I forgot to get a picture of those haha. We had drinks that had vanilla vodka, lime, and soda. Was really refreshing. Service was OK and ambiance was a little meh, a little too dark for me on the inside and a bit small."

"Unless you're a bonafide member of the aristocracy you will not be able to afford frequenting Rundles on a regular basis -- but for a special treat/occasion, it's an exceptional dining experience we all deserve now and then. Go in with your eyes open; check the table d'hôte menu online to ensure their options appeal to you, and then forget about the price. All my choices (smoked trout app; rib steak main; assorted cheese dessert) were absolutely delicious and reasonably portioned, as were my wife's (seasonal corn soup; lamb; grilled peach dessert). Service was professional and attentive (e.g., excuse yourself to the restroom and return to find your seat pillow has been fluffed while you were away). Decor is decidedly post-modern cool which lends itself to the quiet, elegant atmosphere. My only beef was getting charged $6 extra for the cappuccino at the end of a meal which, IMO, should come included in the $125 prix fixe. C'mon, man... gimme a break! With one cocktail each and a bottle of one of the less expensive wines on their eclectic list, my wife and I exited poorer by $450 after tip. That's fine: you get what you pay for. It was all truly great, but I have had modestly better meals and service for less money. That said, Rundles offers a unique and rare experience (at least within southwestern Ontario) that you should try to visit before they close shop or pass on to new ownership later this year as the proprietor is retiring. If/when they close their doors, Stratford will have lost a treasure."

"Over priced, dirty and the food was terrible!! They pay big bucks for advertising and suck you in. Drive down the road into Shelton for a real Italian with ambiance, service, tremendous portions and atmosphere."

"Overview: Sitting Duck is a great restaurant with an interesting menu that is very fitting for the name. Nevertheless the food comes out amazing and has several classic dishes that are a staple to this place, like the beef tips. Food: The food here is awesome, and with their specials that seem to rotate, you'll always be able to try something new that isn't normally on the menu. I had one of the specials, which was a steak with a special sauce, gorgonzola, potatoes and spinach cooked excellently and was delicious. The beef tips are awesome and never let down, a go to if you aren't sure what to get! The new substitute for the pub chips, Disco Duck, is awesome! Try it out, its a great dish for a family or numerous people! Prices aren't bad at all for the portion sizes and the quality. Drinks: The drink menu here is nice, with a great local selection of beers and local distilleries such as Litchfield Distillery. Prices are above average for the drinks, meaning better bang for the buck and since they're supporting local places, try out a new brew or whisky! Service: Staff here is nice, and always check up on how things are. Not a bad thing about the service, timing, or accommodations. Great effort on the team for handling going up and down stairs every time to serve numerous tables!"
