"As regulars in Tignes, we’re always looking for different bars/restaurants. Have walked past this place for the last couple of years and thought it looked nice so, having an hour to spare, I ordered a glass of wine. That was the good bit a...nice, fairly generous glass for a decent price. I went and sat at a free table right in front of the bar but where there were empty water glasses, a carafe, empty beer bottles, beer glasses and wine glasses on the table it was very obvious the table needed clearing. After having looked at other people’s empties for mins I grouped them all together in the direct line sight of the barman (a whole away). I left after mins and added my wine glass to the pile. There is never an excuse to have dirties laying around in a bar, particularly when neither the bar and restaurant weren’t at all busy. This kind of shoddy customer service/poor management at a non-busy time of the season (and late afternoon) demonstrates to me that if you can’t manage to even clear tables when your staff aren’t exactly run off their feet, then this is not a well run place and that you’d likely have problems if eating here. It’s a shame because it’s nicely decorated and could be a lovely, bit up market, venue for pre dinner drinks. However, I prefer not to sit and look at dirty glasses when I’m doing that."

"Very nice cozy restaurant with a great view on the lake. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Plat de jour included wine and coffee. Had the canard (duck) burger with goat cheese, foie gras and fig sauce which was exquisite. Atmosphere was laid back and staff was friendly and attentive.Good place to have a meal after a good hike (or ski)"

"This place is an absolute disgrace, we got a menu where the started was a plate of green leafs with some potatoe mini cubes, main-small plate of defrosted lasagne and for the dessert we asked for sufflet and we got a ball of frozen ice cream and that cost 23euros what a waste of money. Then we waited 30mins + for the bill no staff, no one to call, total chaos, they must be taking people for idiots especially when you speak english, to give an ice cream rather than ordered sufflet it's far beyond any decency."

"Thought it was only a bar showing sky sports, till we went to its first floor Resteraunt, seriously good well presented food at fair prices, the menu may be limited, but why cook 20 things badly when you can do 8 very, very well, and it looked so good Try this place you won't be disappointed and you will be pleased with the billOhh and the staff are pleasant, mainly British and they are responsive and enthusiastic"
