"I dined here 2 nights in a row. The place has a super cool vibe. They play great music, not too loud. The staff is really, really nice, and very attentive. The star is the food. I highly recommend the seared foie gras served on braised artichoke hearts surrounded by perfectly cooked, thinly sliced duck breast, which has some mesclun drizzled with fine balsamic vinegar. It is accompanied by crusty French bread. It is listed as an appetizer, it is certainly enough to be a main course. The fresh fish a la plancha. Is perfectly cooked and served with grilled vegetables and potatoes. Delicious. The tuna ceviche, which is prepared to order, could be the best I’ve had in Mexico, perfectly balanced. The red onion finely minced so it did not overwhelm, and I believe there was a hint of coconut and some finely chopped nuts. Amazing. I had the octopus prepared with some curry which was absolutely delicious. The chef also prepared s a few shrimp and scallops for me to try which were also incredible. I think he is very talented and very creative. I tried the ice cream profiteroles for dessert and they were 4 perfect, delicious bites. The white wine by the glass was very good. All in all, 2 lovely evenings, 2 spectacular meals. I will return and I highly recommend."

"Gorgeous view as you dine outside. The mushroom risotto dish was flavorful and unique, but could be served with 1/2 the fresh mushrooms and be just as tasty. Great experience. Reasonable prices and very attentive service."

"I just had two wonderful dinners and one lunch at Nuestra Cocina located in Playa Esperanza, Tulum. Everything we've had has been amazing. The octopus is very well done and exquisite. The grill they do on Sunday is awesome and their drinks are very refreshing....This restaurant is more expensive than many restaurants in town but compared to El bar Paraiso, la Vita e Bella and el Mezzanine is so much better. They have an amazing chef and staff the environment is very relaxing. They also have the best music.I highly recommend it."
