"Gorgeous little cheese shop with an excellent variety of things to make a delicious cheese board or grazing platter! The staff very helpful with my meandering, wishy washy desire to try everything and find the perfect road trip snacks! I love that they had a bit of a mix of local and imported cheese, not to mention, terrines, dips, crackers, fruit pastes, dried fruits, cheese knives and whatever else you need in your cheese life. My only gripe is that you cant buy cheese in smaller slice lots or a takeway cheese pack, perfect for a quick picnic lunch!"

"Priority, as we had not booked and after a walk around Mt Lofty were nearby. The staff was very pleasant and helpful on the phone and on arrival. We asked if we could eat in the bar in contrast to the restaurant as it had a nice open fire. The food was good, decent portions and a huge beverage menu. As English ticked all boxes for a country pub lunch after a winter walk. Service is what makes or breaks a pub business done so well, we thought all employees were nice. Second visit today, this summer. I hadn't booked yet. Extremely polite and helpful, and we managed to find a place in the garden, no drama for them even though it was very busy. Eat again well, but as I said, service is all to a pub business and these guys are great. It's gonna be a sweetheart. Well done."

"Just off of the beaten track (read onkaparinga valley road) what a great place for brunch/lunch, a sneaky few tees of golf (the driving range competition aims at a green in the lake) and some deliciously progressive locally sourced fair. The cellar door was good, with the barman having a vast knowledge of the wines. Wouldn't want to be there on a busy day, and perhaps avoid the entry level line up ID you like your palette unadulterated."
