"I gather this restaurant has had some ups and downs since opening with several chefs passing through hence the mixed reviews, the current chef is establishing this restaurant at a higher level and I hope he stays for the restaurants sake.The good points first, the ingredients were all of a very high standard, the cooking was also top notch, I have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants and they have been no better, and the wine list is good value, the room is as good as they get with wonderful views down the River Lot and the tables are in no way cramped, and it is by current standards very good value.The slight grumbles, the menu is short to the point of it being difficult if you don't like fish for example to find more than one alternative for a starter, the wine list despite being quite well put together is also short, so much so that on our second night with two first choices either out of stock or finished there was little to replace with left on the list, but these issues can be easily and should be resolved making this a come to restaurant in the area, the service whilst very good was also a bit slow on one night, but these minor teething troubles as I think they are should not stop you visiting this restaurant and it makes staying at this hotel a very pleasant experience"

"Beautiful evening to eat outside and friendly waiters. the tapas selection (all five), however, was mostly disappointing, especially for a restaurant that is allegedly specialized in fish. seemingly bought-in standard battery calamari and another fish. not the freshly prepared fish we expected. the garnels are in order, and whitebait, but hard to go wrong. also were surprised that we could not sit and order a drink beforehand, as we arrived before our 7.30 booking."

"De passage pour le déjeuner, l'idée était de trouver un restaurant à proximité du centre ville. Nous avons bien fait de nous arrêter ici. Service agréable et rapide. Surtout des plats de qualité avec une touche d'originalité. Un cadre également assez original. Bref un rapport qualité-prix bien présent . Je recommande."

"I went there for the first time. I knew before with karaoke. I think it's been good. I enjoyed the buffet. a lot of choice in hors d'oeuvre, in dishes and dessert. Waiting is especially if we all go there at the same time, but it's okay. And I found it was very good. at the price level I find that it is reasonable you should not forget that it is buffet at will and given the choice we go well. I say bravo and thank you"
