"The Chinese restaurant Golden Dragon in the Bahnhofstraße in Westerburg is simple and decorated in the typical “Asiastyle”, like many other Chinese restaurants in Germany. .A few free parking is available in the courtyard in front of the restaurant. Service We were kindly greeted and chose a table on the window. A young Asian asked us directly whether we wanted to take part in the buffet. But with buffet I recently had quite bad experiences and we let the card come. Food The map is very extensive as with most Asian restaurants. Our choice fell on chicken fillet crispy roasted with 8 diets of 9,50 € and chicken meat – Kungpao with vegetables in Hoisin sauce until 9,00 €. Supplement was rice. Before we had 5 mini spring rolls at 2,00 €. All ingredients were fresh, the meat was lean and tenderly lubricated, the chicken crispy, the vegetables crispy and bistable. Everything was nicely dressed, delicious and skillfully prepared. Especially the Hoisin sauce could score points: Unmistakeable by its main components such as red soybeans, garlic, vinegar, chilli, sugar etc., it was nicely viscous and piquant and sweetish-sharf. Conclusion: Good Asian cuisine at moderate prices. My recommendation."

"Already the winding up to the burg was adventurous, the navi played a little crazy and I was glad to have found one of the few parking spaces in the courtyard of the castle. the restaurant “Semperfrey” of the westerburger castle welcomes its guests since 2008 stylishly with a lot of love for the detail and expertly restored vault. antique rustic cozy furniture with lots of wood, deco remembrance of the old ritter time and stone stone maurer occupied a little in medium age. the environment is hardly torn. service: from greeting to farewell very friendly and flott. eat: besides a real wine selection and a well-stocked menu with an upscale kitchen, regional as e.g. baked wester blutwurst is offered apfel ginger competence and gratitude. we chose filetsteak from Argentinian white bark 250 gr to 26,50 €, plus bratkartoffeln, not included in the price, met again at 3,00 € to book. all grilled dishes are served with a crispy salad, homemade sauce béarnaise, crimped butter and spicy steak pepper, then we had deenbrust with white wine risotto at 21.80 € as a greeting from the kitchen came a warm pikantly sharp roasted calffrikadell on small salatbouquet. all ingredients were fresh, mostly prepared and very tasty. the steak on the point fried, juicy and tender, the duck breast, on tasty garden tomaten and paprika pieces, was tender pink fried and also beautiful tender. the risotto and the crucified bratkartoffels were as convincing as the crunchy salad. drinks: caffeine crumbs, king pilger, mineral water. cleanliness: all top finishes: stylish castle restaurant in a beautiful location with upscale kitchen."
