"Mu husband and I wanted to try this new restaurant in North York. It's a Korean Restaurant, specializing in soft tofu stew. They do have other items on the menu but did not try yet. We both ordered the Assorted soon tofu, which was recommended...by a very nice young man. He was very polite, and he explained the meal to my husband and me. It came with some vegetable side dishes, typical of Korean restaurants. Nothing wow. It was a little bland in flavour. Our meal came with also order of small croak fish,which was fried. It was good, but nothing great. So, we wait for our Soon Tofu soup. The rice comes in a hotpot, which is suppose to brown and make rice crispy on the bottomed while you scoop out the rice to eat with the tofu soup. We went on to have our soon tofu , where the flavour was honestly just okay. It did not have that deep flavour that I was looking for. Just overall, it was bland. So, when we went to have the rice that was supposed to be crispy, it wasn't. Went to the trouble of scooping the rice from the hot pot to a rice dish, so that we can wait for crispy rice, which is suppose to have a really nutty flavour..but it did not happen because the pot was not hot enough. Over all I would say that the experience was so so...nothing to write home about. The positive is that, the atmosphere would attract a lot of young people, although at lunch time, it was mostly middle aged to seniors. Having said all that, the service was excellent! The waiter who waited on us was very gentle kind and seemed to know his food he was serving. Of the food tasted better, it would have been a great experience. Hope that, it will improve in the flavour department."
