"23. October 2021: Another 10 star meal with excellent service by Mario. Mille grazie! The Lobster Fra Diavolo and Baccalà Livornese were both excellently prepared. Every bite was simply mouthwater, and of course you must start with the Calamari Europe. The high season starts again for visitors to our beautiful destination, so prepare to wait a bit when you eat after 7:00. Waiting is worth it. Excellent, authentic Italian cuisine served by a fantastic international staff in a comfortable, demanding environment. On Boulevard Las Olas and 8th and 9th I recommend downloading the “PayByPhone” app as it makes it super easy to pay and you will receive a text reminder if your exploration takes you near your time limit! Buon Appetito! My favorite South Florida restaurant is Caffe Europe, on Las Olas Boulevard, and it is our place for all special occasions! Last night we started our meal with the best Calamari Europe. These are NOT fried Calamari, but true Italian style, delicate and tasty flavored Calamari, which taste as if they jump from the sea to the plate! The salmon Europe was perfectly prepared with a delicious, light sauce and served with an excellent polnta and seasonal vegetables. The Rigatoni with gamberi (shrimp) is one of my favorites that I can never resist! Service is ALWAYS excellent, ambience is alive, but refined, and desserts and caffeine to die! Caffè Europa is a popular place and a “must do” for our visitors in Fort Lauderdale. And for the Italian community and those who travel to our city during the holidays, the Christmas Eve dinner in Caffe Europe is traditional and from this world – the Baccalà! Grazie mille per una cena perfetta!"
