"For some reason, they are really not so popular although I think they are a good restaurant. I also believe that they have recently changed property as they move from the Asian team member to the Caucasian. Anyway, decent decor, nice layout, comfortable seating, friendly service. Only had the opportunity to try their afternoon tea that was up there! My wife also tried her dinner before, a bit expensive and small, but surely delicious. If they were in DT Van, I really think their business would be so much better. But who knows? At any rate, you can come to taste their hi tea and French dinner, worth the trip!"

"Actual rating 2.5/5. I and my gf were rather excited to come try this contemporary Italian style restaurant as they are newly opened and original from Taiwan. Well, the truth is, upon being seated & the server mentioned there's a 90 minute time limit and the minimum order of one drink per person (we intended to have meals anyway), we both feel not so welcomed and have NO desire to return regardless of the fancy decor, the sweet service and the nice presentation...Feedback questionnaire was given out prior to the bill, apparently DC is keen on customer ratings to improve their food/ service quality. But with this "Stupid" policy, we will just go eat somewhere else next time! Our first visit will also be our last time here, Chao!PS, Total time we stay is 52 minutes includes taking the food porn photos."

"Originated in Taipei, several years later, Dazzling came to Vancouver to present its famous sweet toast. We had the Mont Blanc chestnut toast (limited in Vancouver) and we are not disappointed! Although the vanilla ice-cream is a bit too sweet, the cream, the chestnut flavour is very good. Their dinner menu is also impressive. We had mintako pasta and mushroom pizza. They are all very tasty and the flavour is right on the spot. I like it! The tea is more on the sweet side. May request less sweet next time."

"I have been to Sugarholic three times already and have tried a variety of their desserts, drinks and meals. Overall, their menu items are quite tasty and they have many choices to pick. The café has a verg nice interior decor and the staff are also generally friendly."

"Family I was visiting in Richmond suggested we try high tea at Adorabelle. I got excited the moment I walked in and smelled the wonderful aroma coming from the kitchen. The decor is perfect and attention to detail is evident right down to the menus...and tea cozy. A properly served high tea with good quality, in house made sweets and savories for a very reasonable price is very hard to find where I am from. Adorabelle checks all the boxes! Favs were the Asiago fennel shortbread, bacon chive cup cake, scones and homemade clotted cream. Kuddos to the pastry chef. I understand new owners took the place over during the summer. I hope they will be successful so I can partake in their high tea on my next visit."

"Had the opportunity to sample some of the fine handmade chocolates from this chocolatier on their Aberdeen Mall stand for the Chinese new year. Can't comment on the ambience of the actual store, but the product is simply fantastic a variety and depth... of the taste that really speaks with the passion and skill of the owners. In the Coconama line there are three broad flavor categories: Traditional, fruit and Japanese. The chocolates are simply sold in plastic cups, 10 dice for $5, as well as many other options including bars, assorted boxes and chocolate filled tar. Almost every taste I tasted was rich, buttery and complex my choice: coconut, passion fruit, Earl Grey, Lemon Basil, Black Sesam, Green Tea (regular and dark), Yuzu, Sake, Red Bean, Avocado, Beet, Kale, Yam and tomatoes. With the exception of a slightly inconspicuous credibility of the Kale chocolate and a very subdued Sake flavor, each taste was a winner and a definitive repurchase. Owner was helpful and friendly. Take a look at them at special events or visit their shop in Richmond."

"Big portions of fried chicken and liu rui fan. (Meat with rice). The liu rui fan could have used more sauce. The bubble tea had an artificial taste. Prices are relatively cheap though. Edit: The fried chicken was quite good even after a couple days.Maybe the flavor I got for the bbt (earl grey) was off, not how earl grey normally tastes."
