"We went there for our anniversary, the overall experience was pleasant, the owner was friendly from when we arrived and when we left. He gavr us a familiar happy feeling of a home. The waiter could be more friendly. He was serving our table as if he HAD to and he gave a strong impression that he really didn't want to be there. The food, albeit on the pricey side, is delicious. To me, it's a bit pricey to charge 4.50 or 5.0 for a glass of ALDI ginger beer. I rather not know that th we y are from ALDI. Other than that, it's a decent place. Glad to have supported the local business a bit."

"The food was most certainly exceptional, had the cured ocean trout with pancake & yolk. It was a simple dish & light in serving, but every mouthful was a delight. The pancake was the fluffiest & lightest I've tasted. The oozy yolk & dressing was a great variation to the usual sweet syrup or savoury hollandaise to keep things moist. The trout was smooth in the mouth. The green juice I got of celery, kale, cucumber & mint was very refreshing & none of the normal "green juice", grassy taste. The service was prompt & efficient. The waitstaff weren't actually rude, but didn't make any effort to be friendly either. In fact I felt quite ill at ease, felt like me being there eating was intruding on their space. It was Sunday afternoon, they were mostly emptied despite all the surrounding places being packed. The food is great enough for a repeat visit, but hope I get a better experience next time."
