"Prior to Covid, we used to eat often to the Côté Jardin restaurant that is part of the Lausanne Palace complex. We came back in 2021, were not impressed, but wanted to give it another chance given the particular context we were all living in....We went back in August 2022 and were so disappointed: Service was extremely slow despite the fact the restaurant was 90% empty. We ordered 3 drinks among which 1 (small) glass of Champagne at 21 CHF. Nothing to eat with our drinks (olives, chips, …, whatever). We then ordered our meals and were never asked about wines. As no starch food was proposed with his meal, my husband ordered some rice. What he got was a small bowl of plain white rice. No butter, no parsley or anything on it. Prices have been CRAZILY increased. When we shared our disappointment with the waiter, he asked us to fill in a form that we took the time to complete (with phone number and email address). 3 weeks later, we have never been contacted by the restaurant. We are local customers, maybe the direction only cares about their international guests!"

"I stopped in here for lunch a few weeks ago. This place is brand new and offers a design-your-own Asian bowl concept. Service was quick and friendly. There are quite a few options with which you can design your meal, though it tends to follow...Thai/Southeast Asian cuisine. My meal was very fresh, with interesting flavors and spices (Rice noodles with beef satay in a spicy sauce with pickeled vegetables, cilantro, and sauteed shallots). The drinks offered are fizzy, natural sodas. The menu comes with a small dessert of fruit or custard. The restaurant itself is quite small, with about six tables available. Many people do take-away for this reason. I came with a stroller, thus it was quite tight to park it. Note that there is a ramp around the side of the building, so it is possible to enter from the back of the restaurant. The ramp is not obvious from the front stairs. Overall, Wawa's offers a tasty, healthy lunch option. Standard food prices (menu for CHF), though probably not sophisticated/authentic enough for a night out."

"If you like Lebanese food fresh and well priced with no frills then this place is a real gem. You can take away, or eat at the counter. I was there in the evening so the display was quite bare, but I went with the suggestion of an assiette poulet and it was delicious. I'll definitely go back, probably earlier in the day if I can. The owner was also very friendly, which always helps."
