"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Expensive and lousy in every way"

"It had been a few years since we were in Zocalo, but it was as good as we remembered it to be. There were still some favorites on the menu, but also some new dishes, and they didn't disappoint. This is the only menu among many in Charlottesville that is really different and exciting. I had the duck breast cooked perfectly and accompanied by a great sauce, braised chard and an onion manchego bread pudding, and my wife loved her salmon. My starter, the tuna tartar, was too heavenly and had a healthy kick. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent Sushi dinner out in the Big Apple. My g/f and I enjoyed many dishes like the duck roti and soft shell crab Karaage. For sushi we enjoyed the Wagyu, tuna and avocado roll as well as a king crab roll both superb. When then finished off the meal with the Red Dragon roll also excellent. No dessert for we were both to full but we were given a complimentary Nagiri dish at the end of the meal. If you’re looking for a solid sushi meal this is your place. I have Spoken"

"Came for New York restaurant week for lunch, found hair on the grill/meat (can't tell which one but makes no difference to the experience, don't know how they did the dishes or quality check). And later they forgot to bring on the food we ordered. They made apologies though, but impressions already made. Meats decent, just the food and service quality doesn't match at all. Disappointed."
