"I went to Lone Fone at least three times with a friend before watching a movie, each time the food and service were great. Due to the excellent experience, we decided to invite other friends over there before a movie, so about 6 people went with us, and it was utterly disappointing and embarrassing. We ordered lots of food, except for the fried rice, all the food tasted like it was cooked by someone who had no business cooking. I think it was just a fluke no way it was the same person cooking. The staff and owner were accommodating and friendly. The majority of the experience were good, so I think they deserve another chance, but I haven't been there since then."

"Server was incredibly rude for us and our children, took all the essentials away from our table before our meal came (when she saw children injured from them). Do not ask about the menu because you are treated with condescendingly. Overall, the server made us so uncomfortable that when our meal was ready, we quickly asked to go. Not recommended!"

"Last night my wife and I went out for dinner with another couple, Sue and Gary. We decided to go to Hong Chow, for Chinese food. I have been here for dinner before, but this time we ordered the combination plate for four. What a fantastic meal. The value for your money is excellent. The meal was delicious and waitress was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.... to all the trip advisor readers. The egg rolls are made at the restaurant and the egg roll sauce is also made at this restaurant."

"Its old, tired and not fancy. But the food is mostly good and if you get the right server its a great experience. Unfortunately a few new servers are doing this place no favors. An older lady thats been there recently is incredibly rude. However...there is a male waiter that's been there forever who is magnificent and a brand new young lady who seems very nice. But that slim older lady with the glasses ... RUDE. This place was run by a nice lady for years and taken over a few years back by kitchen staff. Not much has changed with the food. The rude server though is there too often and I dont go often now because of her. Last few times she treated me like I was a smelly bum off the street. Been a regular for years and if I see her I walk out. Most dishes I tried are very good. Chicken Chop Suey, Crispy beef, Sweet n sour all the Western Chinese favorites are good. Won Ton Soup here is the best in town and unique. They make everything there and you can tell. Rice is always exactly the same every time and yummy. Unfortunately server roulette makes it a risky choice these days."
