"Ho Ho's has been our go-to restaurant for Chinese food in Kenora for many years. Our most recent visit was a great disappointment...We were a party of three. My husband ordered one of the combination plates--he loves sweet 'n sour shrimp, but this particular combination plate had three sweet 'n sour items, so it was a little too much! The cooked cabbage that accompanied the dish was super bland. My friend ordered the Bobby special which is an assortment of all sorts of typical buffet items--my friend found most of the selections unpalatable. I did not want anything deep-fried, so I chose a single dish, almond chicken gai ding. What arrived at our table was NOT what I expected--the chunks of meat were actually grey in colour--I'm not even sure they were chicken and the veggies were not diced. We usually eat everything on our plate at a restaurant, but none of us were able to finish our meals that evening.I'm sorry to say that Ho Ho's is now off our list!"
