"8 of 10! I booked this place for my daughter’s birthday. We ended up in the “garden room area”. The decor and ambiance was beautiful but the space was cold. The tea helped to keep us warm as did the overhead warming lamp, however, our feet were freezing. The warmth from the lamp only kept one of us warm, the tea kept the other two warm-ish but we were not 100% comfortable. We almost kept our coats on but felt we should stick it out coat-less. If there were warmers on the floor, it would be much more comfortable and I would’ve rated the experience higher. The teas were delicious and so were most of the sandwiches. We had our favorites and some we wouldn’t try again. The scones were yummy and the chocolate mousse was a great finish to a good nosh! Lastly, the service was good when someone was in the area two areas, front and garden) but there were times we felt that we had to wait quite a while for a refill of the tea or for the cream. Overall, my girls really enjoyed the experience and I would recommend it to others. Just make sure to book inside during the colder months I imagine it would be beautiful during the warmer months)"

"Chill spot but the baristas were very cold towards me. I dont want to make it sound like a race thing. But sheesh it was pretty obvious when a pretty young white couple asked 100 questions about coffee they got every answer they could seek. All I did was ask about my order the dude snapped at me. I still left a tip just wont go there again. The first visit was smooth after that I got treated differently and I wasnt rude. I was patient in waiting my turn. I didnt skip any one. I even held the door open for an employee bringing in items. So to get spoken to in a manner that 's not respectful was such a turn off. I 'd give one star but the matcha and coffee is actually really good. Dont go there if you look different . That 's all I can say."
