"I sometimes visit here it's close to the Village Learning Place, the Maryland Ave cycle track (bicycle path), and other places I frequent. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. It also has great coffee and locally made muffins and tasty treats, such as banana raspberry bread. If I want a serious lunch, they have a delicious vegan BLT. On nice days, one can eat at an outside table, but some shade would be nice. There are 2 bicycle loops to secure my bicycle, although I also see lots of street parking. I come here often enough to complete a 10 punch card, that entitled me to a free drink. What's there not to like? (answer: only no shade outside)"

"I nearly forgot how much I adore Artifact Coffee! It 's a casual, open/roomy spot to socialize with a friend or two during the day. When I housesit for a friend in Hampden, I especially love walking her dog over to Artifact to sit outside and enjoy a cold brew or meet up with others in the neighborhood.The staff is always very friendly and helpful if you don 't know what to order! I appreciate their honesty and insight and have never been steered wrong by them :)Outdoor seating is my favorite, but inside is pretty nice too! It 's a little dim and feels like you 're inside a cabin imo.Coffee is always pretty consistent here! It 's not my go-to for specialty coffee, but the atmosphere and food choices make Artifact a great spot to throw some variety in the week. They 're great neighbors and a fantastic part of the community!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for drinks and food :)Kid-friendliness: Some kid friendly items, but this definitely is not a "kids place "Parking: Limited free parking lot and street parking, but in this neighborhood? you 're lucky to have that!Dietary restrictions: Notify barista/server of any dietary restrictions, as allergens are present in the kitchen."

"The hours close at 8 o'clock. I was behind three other guests who had ordered. that man did behind the counter as if he had not seen me. I waited about 10 minutes. that was before 19:45. Finally, the man recognized me and told me they were closed. I told him I'm waiting right behind the three ladies who ordered. he told me he didn't realize it was so late and he had 5 more pizzas to make. a terrible excuse for customer service. there was no closed sign and he commanded me how I waited to make my order. I was once and was supported by someone else. never again. I was turned away from a load during the business hours and because they were reordered. can't believe that. I took mine, but I won't share it here. I'm trying somewhere else."
