"The hostel is very new. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and that was the best bathroom I used in Peru: well built, hot water and no stagnating water. Breakfast was standard: an egg, bread, jam and tea. All for 50 soles. The mama who held the place was also very friendly, always smiling. She kept one of our backpacks for 3 days and also washes some clothes for 10 soles."

"I came for coffee and a crepe but found that due to the reduced number of vegans they visited them and soy milk removed from their menu. they will return, vegan visitors back. a bit of catch 22. I recommend that they go for the good coffee and the enthusiastic and funny chicas that run the place. if they go, they tell them they are vegan and would have bought the crepes/cappuccino, otherwise how will they know if vegan pay rise."

"The lunch in this picanteria was not the cheapest we had, but it was certainly delicious! I had the garnel soup and it bleeded me away. there were many ingredients such as squash, kartoffel, cheese, rice, crumbs, etc. the garnels were actually crumbs in the mind. this Cajun girl. it was a big part. my man had the stuffed pfeffer and it was also great. although the waitress did not speak English, she was very sweet and attentive. I also love the quiet atmosphere of the farm."

"This cute little place has a healthy vegetarian menu for only 9 soles. You get juice, salad, soup, and a choice of four different dishes to try (for an additional 2s you can add dessert). Everything was great, and service was friendly! I only wish I had time to go back."

"Fuimos a almorzar con un grupo de trabajo, y ningún plato fue bueno. Particularmente el mio, Ravioles con lomo saltado, en vez de ravioles, era una masa tipo wantan rellena de carne. Encima iba en lomo saltado y todo estaba sobre el jugo que parecía una sopa. Un plato para nada recomendado. Mucha pena porque el lugar es muy bueno y tranquilo,"

"We found this place walking in the city centre. The house is beautiful, with high ceiling arches made from traditional volcanic stone. The service was warm and attentive, and the food and wine were excellent I had a pepper steak; it was served with homemade pasta,... delicious! The wine list was extensive, which was a challenge, but the recommendation was very good. My husband had a lasagna with rocoto, it tasted fantastic!"

"Amazing Coffee Shop. The decoration is very nice and pleasant, perfect for a breakfast/brunch or coffee time. Take a book with you and have some nice time with yourself. I had the Brochetta with Avocado, Bacon, Mozzarella and egg plus an ice americano and a Pain Au Chocolat as desert."
