"Our first experience was the breakfast meal, Seedy Squirrel and it was large and well cooked, tasty the first time, next few times slightly smaller put good value. Not wrapt in the coffee, but was ok. The food is excellent, l always appreciate local small business, and will continue too. Would love to see a few new breakfast items, and tea options for us tea drinks. Can recommend this cafe to all."

"Didn't realise it was Valentines Day so the place was buzzing. We were in a hurry to get back on the road and the waitress assured us the meal would arrive quickly. She was right. What a surprise the food was, way up there with the best Malaysian we've ever had, the Randang was superb. Also had their homemade Dim Sims which were a surprise on a Malaysian menu but they were also amongst the best we've ever had."

"We actually went here by mistake as we wanted to go a little further up the road to Lake of China restaurant. Service was slow as there were only 6 customers at the time. The waitress had little or no knowledge of the items on the menu. Whilst we waited for our food numerous takeaway orders were collected, Seems that the restaurant is more interested in takeaway business. To top it all off the next day we were both a bit queasy as we had seafood which would appear to have been off. Lesson learned."

"Gave hotel a try after noticing under new management. Vast improvement over last visit. Premises was well illuminated, clean and smelt fresh. Staff were friendly and prompt with service and created some non-alcoholic mocktails for us. Food was superb with generous well cooked helpings. It was a pleasure dining there."
