"Open with lunch packs and evenings. The burgers are the biggest around with all salads, egg, beetroot, cheese onion, nothing missing not like the soggy bread bun from the big yellow M chain."

"Best coffee in town. Great service and real food for a good price. Opens early for that morning coffee before work. Shame on the previous reviewer for the low star rating, not sure how it is the cafe's fault that they weren't open on a Saturday when clearly they don't open on Weekends as per their sign. Fair go... enough said."

"My mid-morning snack of salad roll and coffee was just what I needed.The roll was exactly as I asked for it and the coffee was adequate. There were other foods on offer and I had a choice of inside or outside seating. The streets of Benalla in Summer are well covered with trees and pleasant."

"You have to leave the Hume (M31) these days to come through Benalla but it is worth the stop. The art gallery is modest but worth a quick break. There is a super bronze outside celebrating Weary Dunlop and mateship. The gallery cafe is straightforward, no nonsense food. We had soft tacos ( pulled pork and prawn). They were both terrific. Three tacos each for $18. The rest of the menu looked good to. Generous burgers, tortilla, nuggets for kids. All good. Then there is the gallery - two rooms. Terrific. Clean toilets."
