"Had breakfast here on 26 July family of 4. Pre ordered and paid using Flipdish. Were waiting for an hour for food. As we had prepaid we had no choice but to wait. Two breakfasts came out after an hour of waiting missing things like toast, maple syrup and bananas. About 10 minutes later another breakfast came followed by the last breaksfast 5minutes later. food was only warm. toast never came despite asking for it. Waitress apologised saying the chef was new and that she spoke to management and that they would refund us but it would have to be done through flipdish as we had prepaid. Needless to say like the food I am still waiting on the refund. Plenty of other restaurants around the corner which I am sure couldn't be much worse than this. won't be returning and wouldn't advise using flipdish and prepaying as they don't obviously care once you have paid."

"Hard to enjoy food when the place is literally filthy. Mucky floors, manky tea towels and staff who don’t even speak to each other, clanging dishes so loud it’s awkward. The cutlery is stored a few inches away from the dirty floor. Used to come here often, sad to see it go downhill."

"My fiancé and I went to Old Street last night (23/12/17) for the first time and it definitely will not be our last. The atmosphere, the decor, the staff and most importantly the food is just in a word perfection. I can’t remember our waiters name but he was so lovely, friendly and warm. He really knew the menu inside out and was able to answer any questions we had about the dishes. I had the hens egg to start, beef for main and the Christmas spiced tart to finish..... all gorgeous stunning incredibly tasty well presented dishes. Can’t wait to go back again. Thank you Old Street for such a lovely eve jog xxxxxx"
