"Staff are friendly and prices are okay, then again they could be cheaper. Decor is okay as well. My chorizo toastie was so plain and lacking in flavour, that I nearly fell asleep eating it. It was very dry. The salad served with it was basic. Also the side pot they serve with it is odd. Overall, not good."

"I go here regularly with living near by and can't fault it. My lad has the full English and I often have oatcakes with 3 fillings. Probably a tad expensive if we're being completely honest. But the food is nice. Service is quick and friendly. The cafe itself is very clean and well refurbished. Can order to takeaway or sit in at a nice dining area. Definitely recommend it."

"Visited this Bistro last Saturday 31 May. Food was excellent. I had garlic mushrooms and parmesan to start followed by cod loin with a tomato and chorizo sauce and sweet potato chips it was so delish I didn't want it to end. My husband had the scotch egg to start with followed by a burger which he said was lovely and tasty. The food was very reasonably priced and for the standard we experienced was worth every penny. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed we will definitely be back. This is a relatively new addition to Newcastle (the cafe has been open during the day for some time but the opening in the evenings is new) and we would strongly urge you to book a table you won't be disappointed!"

"Really lovely overall. It was just a shame that we arrived a few minutes before 12:00 and it was still closed so we were asked to come back in 5 minutes. Which we did and as soon as we were in and seated everything was great! Perhaps an opening of 11:55 would be better for those arriving just a little early."

"What as happened here ??? Only one person doing bar taking orders asked for filter coffee brought blk coffee no milk!! No sign of any orders being taken left. Complained at hotel reception. Not interested as u will see have left good reviews in past as dined here and attended functions here on many previous occasions was always excellent now shambolic"
