"We had a lovely evening at a special event for local artists to raise money for the RNLI. They serve st Mary's vodka which is a plus for me. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just had a lovely lunch"

"If you think your Nana makes worthy homemade food then think again get along to Milo's place. Homemade beetroot, coleslaw, roasties, hand basted Gammon, juicy fresh salads straight from the garden finished off with yes! Homemade lemon cheesecake. Heaps of added fun from owners Sarah, Chloe, Josh, the boss Santa Claus and of course Milo. Oh I nearly forgot the Incredible Pea Soup."

"Went here for a spur of the moment choice. Sunday lunch was absolutely beautiful. Full of flavour and enough to fill your tum even if it didn't look much at first. Got one beef brisket, one pan fried chicken breast both with mash (spring onions I side was a very tasty surprise), large Yorkshire pudding and a separate tray of veg for us to share which was the usual roasties, swede mash, spinach, cauliflower, broccoli and extra gravy. One coke, one lemonade. All for £30. Sat outside in the sun and service was quick too."

"I ordered a bacon, sausage and egg sandwich and it was amazing. The bun was dipped which took me back to my childhood and there was plenty of filling. It was made fresh to order and the service is as quick as it can be....Prices are very good for what you get. Staff are friendly and attentive."

"I had a nice meal today with my grandson. friendly service. clean and tidy. good prices. about 5 10 minutes walk from the metro wallsend and the local bus stop right in front of the house door. it is located right next to the shopping center wallsend and good local pubs. I will definitely be back and I have already visited with friends and family. toilets are down and have access x"

"First time here for a while, looked busy which is normally a good sign. Wife had chicken sizzler fajitas, unfortunately the chicken was very dry and not succulent at all. I had the mixed grill sizzler, the bed of onions were saturated with fat and the egg undercooked, the rest was fine but would have preferred home made chips instead of frozen! The menu has a great choice of food, maybe the wrong choice at the wrong time, the mince and dumplings on another table looked delicious. The portions are large by todays standards which for me is on the plus side."

"Came upon this place when in North Shields recently, It is definatly a locals place to eat you could tell when entering. Very friendly greeting and loads of home cooked proper food available. I opted for home made corned beef pie and my wife had...egg chips beans. My pie came with garden peas and home made chips. You could have mushey peas if you wanted. Very generous portions washed down with mugs of tea. Total came to very good value. Clean and tidy toilets as well. If you are ever up this way, well worth a visit."
