"The Mongolia BBQ is okay, sushi is subpar. Don't order anything fried they all taste like stale oil and come out super soggy. We've been here a few times just to give it another try but the results seem to be the same everytime. The place could use some cleaning as well."

"The staff here is amazing! Restaurants like these are not easy to find in the Redding area and the staff suggestions were incredibly helpful. I love that they have a wide selection of sauces from mild to tasty fiery. I've never been disappointed when we come here to eat. Parking here is the worst, but I would go a mile for her tacos."

"From 2 to 5 pm they have early dinner specials for 7.99. I had the country fried steak with gravy, mixed veggies and baked potato. It was the most tender country fried steak in have ever had. Delicious, great. Price and value for what you get."

"What can I say? I loved her pancakes a child. My family visited 8 October 2022. For dinner. At first they have much more than just pancakes. As soon as we walked, the host was super friendly and let us sit quickly. He was very good to interact with my son, and very fast to take our orders. The food was delivered very fast, NOT MICROWAVE OVEN fast, although lol. The food was hot and very well prepared wjen served. Highly competitive stop for more than just breakfast."

"A perfect mix of Chinese food and Japanese Sushi! We were in Redding for four days and ate here five times! My daughter found this little gem for us and it was the first place we stopped, for lunch, when we arrived in town. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for dinner that night, three more times over the weekend and we were not disappointed, not once! . The sushi was fresh and beautifully presented in every dish. During those five meals we enjoyed everything! Dragon Roll, Sakura Roll, Unagi Hand Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, Eel Teriyaki, Sweet Sour Pork, Beef Short Ribs, egg flower soup and enjoyed every bite. My daughter doesn't like cucumber and they adjusted every order for her On the second day we brought another family of five along and they ordered the Seafood Udon Soup, Vegetable Tempura, the Sushi Boat, the Abalone Soup and a family dinner for three. What an amazing meal!! Many times when you find a restaurant that does both Chinese and Japanese food, one of the two takes a backseat to the other. Not here! I tried my wife's sweet and sour pork expecting it to be less than stellar but to my surprise it was great. What made it great was the fact that the breading on the meat, now sitting in the sweet and sour sauce was firm and even crunchy. The service is excellent. The food arrives in coarse at a pace that doesn't overwhelm you or the table. We never needed a reservation but I recommend calling ahead for parties of five or more to give them a chance to put a couple tables together for you Closed Sunday nights. I highly recommend Chu's Too"
