"The cafeteria is, of course, above all, a place where the service is fast and especially very simple. Yet anyone could satisfy himself! Whether you're coming together, with family, in a group (even more than 10 people believe me there's room), you'll be served! The offer is wide, adapted to all tastes. Between pizzas, more classic formulas or daily dishes, the “hot” space is fast and will fit everyone. The various buffets (fruits, entries, desserts, etc.) also offer generous and qualitative portions. The term of cafeteria might leave it to believe that the food will be passable, but here the service is like what one eats: more than pleasant! The team is fast, listening, smiling! The space serves with crêpes and ice now offers milshakes. In addition, the portions are also very generous! (Ice like the "White Lady" for example will surprise you!)I sincerely advise this cafeteria which, without lying, is worth a "normal" restaurant."

"I worked for a month and a half in the hyper u gallery. I used to eat almost every noon. offers daily dishes but also a snack for the most pressing. Pizzas are monstrous. and dessert pancakes. Everything's home. I recommend cuts between noon and two."

"What can you expect in a supermarket cafe? Well, At LeClerc cafeteria you get freshly cooked food, with a good choice on offer, and in pleasant surroundings at cheap prices - the small carafes of wine are €1:20 and yield 2 glasses, which is a bit of bargain and it's more than decent wine too! Choices range from gammon, ham, bavette steak, fish, burgers, pizzas, salads and several plats du jour, which are based on the seasons usually. It's what it says on the box, a supermarket Caff but with wine and beer! Children's menus are available as are delectable desserts such as freshly made crepes and enormous ice cream sundaes. Open 7 days a week until 2100hrs. Open for lunch and dinner."

"The more we go here the better it gets, the staff are so friendly and great service. We only had 2 courses but it was just outstanding. We had for amuse bouche cauliflower soup, poulet fermier them the millefeuille. If you come to Saintes you...must go! I’ve seen other comments about how they arrived and couldn’t get a table if you arrive at any good restaurant and haven’t booked then you won’t get a table !"

"We stopped here on a quit Sunday and this place was one of the few that was opened. We ordered a pizza each and as a starter some calamari. The Calamares came straight from the freezer, so was for sure overprized in my opinion. The pizza's were made from scratch right in front of us, and were super tasty. We were not sure why she waited 30 min before making them as we were the only people in there and there was nobody picking up any pizza's either."

"Our first time at this restaurant but definitely not the last. We had the three course lunch menu at 19€ and it was incredible value for the quality of what we ate. Starter of poached type egg, covered and fried in breadcrumbs served on a bed of diced potatoes and spinach in a mild curry sauce. Followed by excellently cooked steak pieces with cabbage and purée, my wife had filet of pollock served on a bed of sea vegetables which she said was wonderful. Dessert for me was a type of eclair filled with orange slices etc and served with a very delicately flavoured lemon grass ice cream, amazing !, my wife had elderflower flavoured cream, coulis, with fresh strawberries with mascarpone ice cream, again amazing. Excellent choices of wine at very reasonable prices, all served by very helpful and friendly staff. The chef, Michael Durkin, worked in a lot of quality restaurants, including working with Tom Kerridge, and it shows. His attention to detail, use of unusual ingredients etc makes this restaurant a winner every time.It's in Saintes, a wonderful old town with Roman amphitheatre, statuesque cathedral, vibrant markets etc, which is a great place to visit and explore. There is also car parking opposite the restaurant, next to the river, with more about 200 metres further on, making it a great place to relax and enjoy good food before or after you've explored the town."
