"I was very disappointed with my experience at crocodiles. I was taking a leisurely stroll running errands and decided to stop at this restaurant that I've seen many many times. It is located next to the zocalo in San Cristobal Mexico surrounded by other restaurants shops cafes and the throng of locals and tourists. There is sidewalk dining but I chose to sit inside near a window where I could still watch everything going on. My server came up to me and I ordered a cafe mocha and looking at the menu I was in the mood for chilaquiles but I did not want chicken I wanted them to add chorizo. I have to admit that there might be something Lost in translation. I asked my server if I could have the chilaquiles with chorizo instead of chicken. What I got was an emphatic no. I said that I would pay extra or the difference. She looked at me like that wasn't possible. I asked her to talk to the chef and see if he could do it. I did not see a problem in that considering they have chilaquiles on the menu as well as dishes with chorizo. After 10 minutes have gone by there was still no sign of her. I decided that this was not the place for me I would spend my money elsewhere. She didn't even come back to my table I had to get up and go to the front desk and ask for my bill. The woman who seem to be the manager asked me if everything was okay, at first I said yes, but I felt that since she did ask she should really know how I felt. The manager really tried to do the right thing but at that point I just didn't want to be bothered. I did promise her that I would be back and I will considering that there might have been something Lost in translation. The reason why I would go back is because I saw other people eating and their food looks really good."
