"Fantastic food and Gin! Started at the bar with their amazing Gin and Specialty Tonics! The theatre around the bartender making these well thought out gins was amazing! Food was outstanding as was the service ! Tucked away restaurant that is top notch. Highly recommend (but you must try one of their massive selection of Gin!"

"Cute little place this one, ordered the chicken katsu on rice. Price was, not too bad but for a simple katsu perhaps a little expensive. Wait time was longer than average but I could see the chicken was battered specifically for my order and it doesn 't get fresher than that! Portion size for chicken thigh was excellent although a little heavy on the rice and as a result despite it tasting great, sat like a brick in my stomach for a few hours. Batter was soggy and this was down to over saturating it with yum yum sauce so if you like crisp panko ask for sauce as a side. Overall I was happy with the meal and would definitely consider trying their ramen to see if they can compete with Taurangas infamous chidori ! Thank you for the meal"

"Good selection of sushi to either dine in or for takeaway. You get to choose which sushi items you want which is better than having them per-packaged. The deep fried rice balls were something we’ve never had before but they were delicious and would definitely get again!"

"Have been to this cafe plenty of times normally have a great experience. However upon ordering two meals from the kid’s menu and two coffees (I’m not a big eater and nether is my partner) we were told that the kids menu if for children only. What difference does it make? Rather than us waisting food and money we order accordingly."

"With distance the best Chinese restaurant in the bay. a large selection of dresses for selection. that is not the average fish n chip Chinese foods that they may be used. it is as close to the real thing as they go to auckland without car or better still, to China."

"The best chinese restaurant in Tauranga. I have visited this place for years and everytime I visit Tauranga I go to this place. These guys have relocated to Cameron rd and the restaurant looks really bright, clean and spacious. The quality of their food is just flawless and we really enjoyed our dinner."

"I am a regular with family and friends. Love the crepes and coffee is always good (particularly when the young Maori girl barista does it, she's lovely). The slices are delicious and a nice cafe overall."

"Wow!! Absolutely scrumptious!! The leek olive and tomato cheesy focaccia flatbread. I would literally drive out of town to get this again! It was the most delicious focaccia that I have ever had. I bought this while traveling through the town alongside 2 cappuccinos and a cannoli which was delicious too, the coffee was good too even my partner was impressed. The new owners were friendly and chatty. Although I wasn't staying that outdoor and indoor area was very inviting. Lovely touches inside of beautiful wares of the decor shop next door. It felt homely and sheek at the same time. I would highly recommend stopping in there for food whether you are staying in or getting takeaways."
