"I ended up here after a long walk round the pretty town. I chatted with the girl serving. I was tired and wanted to sit due to a longstanding nagging injury the sign said terrace. On purchasing an icecream, I asked where to go...to get to the terrace. The manager overhearing, said I could not take it down to the terrace as it was to go. I asked if I could pay extra to have it in a bowl or buy something from downstairs in addition. No. He added I couldn't decline it as it had been spooned. I decided it was worth the to give it away or leave it on the counter and simply buy something new off the menu downstairs. I paid for it, left it with the girl serving and went downstairs. A few minutes later, the manager came downstairs after me with it on a tray and said he didn't understand. I explained I had paid for it but wanted to sit down. He said he wanted me to leave. Upstairs, I asked the girl who has served me if he understood I had paid for it. I was pretty tearful by this point but at no point was I rude more shocked I've never been asked to leave anywhere. She looked embarrassed. I said to another customer how shocked I was. At that point the manager threatened to call the police on me. I left a truly horrible welcome to this lovely town"

"Beautiful café in the historic heart of Tübingen. Your vegan breakfast is really good, they do not lie when they say it is richly cooked with fruit and vegetables. The vegan sandwiches and toasts they offer are also delicious. Since I worked there for a while, I can say that they are very respectful of veganism and usually use fresh ingredients."
