"Wood Street Pizza is the best in town! I'm a huge fan of this grandma style pie that is a white pizza (pecorino) with crushed plum tomato, fresh basil, and herbs. The crust is light and airy, chewy–yet crispy. The flavors are complex and bright. It's always a treat picking up one of these large pies, which was ready today in less than 10 minutes. Ordering on woodstreetphilly.com was a breeze. Today's pizza was the best one I've ever had. I don't live nearby anymore, but it was well worth my drive into center city to pick this beauty up. Thank you, Wood Street Pizza!"

"My husband and I love this place. Salvatore is an amazing chef and his pizza is to die for!!! The home made bread is out of this world light, fresh and warm!!! The food is truly awesome. In just one week we visited 3 times and brought our good friends the third time. They were in food heaven!!!My husband, born in Italy said Salvatore makes the best pizza he has ever tasted, and I must agree.Everyone must go there, you will not be disappointed!!"
